Jerrod Niles Video Branding

I led a mini rebrand for Jerrod Niles Video, which included a new logo, website design, and business card layout. Jerrod Niles is a Washington, D.C. based American videographer with experience shooting for racing teams as well as a strong background in political and non-profit work.

The previous branding featured a video gallery on the homepage over a white background with Arial text. While functional, it didn’t fully capture Jerrod’s personality or distinguish him from competitors. I saw an opportunity to create a visual identity that would reflect his style, broaden his appeal to clients, and remain appealing for the next 5–10 years. I developed a color palette that would resonate with both his motorsports and D.C.-area clients. Red and blue are common in the automotive world and highly relevant in political contexts, but I avoided a heavy-handed Americana feel by muting the blues and using red as a subtle accent.

For the website, I designed the homepage, about page, and tier-1 subpage template, leaving Jerrod flexibility to adapt lower-level pages for specific video collections. The homepage opens with an autoplaying, looping demo reel to instantly showcase his capabilities. Directly below is a looping banner of brands he has worked with, establishing credibility at a glance. Further down, I added a personal bio section with a candid photo of Jerrod on set and links to his tier-1 subpages. The footer includes his Instagram feed for ongoing engagement. The result is a cohesive, timeless brand presence that balances professionalism with personality, positioning Jerrod as a trusted creative partner across multiple industries.
